Eco Week in Frenchtown: Celebrate, Learn & Take Action with Eco Loka!
It’s time to turn the tide! Eco Week is landing in Frenchtown, NJ from April 22–27, and we’re so excited to be part of a town-wide celebration of sustainability, creativity, and conscious living. Whether you’re a long-time eco-warrior or just getting started on your low-waste journey, there’s something for everyone. And guess what? Eco Loka is right in the heart of it all!

🌱 Tuesday, April 22 – Mending Circle at Eco Loka
Got a pile of loved-but-ripped clothes sitting in a corner? Bring them in and join our Mending Circle! We’ll have supplies, good company, and plenty of slow fashion vibes. Come stitch, patch, and chat your way toward a more sustainable wardrobe.
👗 Thursday, April 24 – Sustainable Fashion Show at ArtYard
Fashion lovers, this one’s for you! ArtYard is hosting a runway show that celebrates sustainable style—from upcycled pieces to low-impact fabrics. We’ll be cheering from the sidelines and feeling inspired to rethink our closets.
🎥 Friday, April 25 – Free Screening at Eco Loka: We Are All Plastic People Now
This thought-provoking film dives into the hidden (and not-so-hidden) impact of plastic in our lives. After the screening, stick around for trivia with eco-prizes, store discounts, and a door prize that’ll make your sustainability-loving heart skip a beat. We will also have a question and answer period hosted by Kathy Lynch of Green Matters
🌿 Saturday, April 26 – Green Fair + Speaker Series
Head over to Sunbeam Park for the Green Fair, featuring amazing local vendors offering sustainable goodies and green innovations. Then, make your way to ArtYard for a series of inspiring speakers sharing ideas, insights, and eco-action strategies. It’s like TED Talks, but greener.
